Marissa Lyda
Director of Finance
From Marissa:
I graduated from Corban University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in business accounting & finance. I began my accounting career in corporate America and have always enjoyed working with numbers and processes. In 2017 I made a shift to nonprofit accounting to work at Willamette Christian Church. I loved using my accounting skills for a greater purpose behind the mission of the church.
After my son was born in 2020, I took a step back from work to be a stay-at-home-mom. I also began to build my side business as a content creator, sharing about budgeting and family finances online, which I continue today. I now have 2 sons and am excited to expand my business and get back to nonprofit finances with Stafford Farm School. I love SFS’s mission of a Christ-centered academic experience and it’s an honor to be a part of this growing school.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family. My toddler and preschooler keep me busy these days in the best way possible. :)
