Heather Hofen

From Heather:

A love for learning and a passion for teaching children to read was what led me to enter the field of education more than 25 years ago. I was a classroom teacher for 6 years until I was able to stay home with my own children. When they reached school age, our family decided that homeschooling was the best choice for us. We have loved being on this learning adventure together through the years. Right now we have two kids in college and one more still homeschooling high school.

Stafford Farm School has given me a new opportunity to return to teaching outside of our home. It is a truly unique environment that merges classroom learning and homeschooling together. The teachers, directors, and parents all partner together to make Farm School an experience where our students are supported, challenged, and encouraged to fall in love with learning. Most importantly, in all things, we point to Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. In my free time I like to sing, root for my favorite sports teams, and enjoy beautiful places in nature.
