Catalina Vargas

From Catalina:

My name is Catalina Vargas I am from Colombia, specifically from the city of Medellin, also known as "The city of eternal spring”.

I have a degree in psychology. In 2006, my husband and I moved to the United States, we have two children, aged 17 and 15, and we have had the opportunity to live in three different states.

In my free time I love to spend time with my family, travel and read. After being with my children at home and volunteering at their school, in 2018 I began working for the Palisades School in Lake Oswego as a Spanish instructor to elementary school children. I currently offer online Spanish classes at different levels. It is a privilege for me to teach my native language and culture to children.

I feel very blessed and happy to be part of SFS team this school year.
