Open Positions for the 2025-2026 school year:

Kindergarten
Teacher
5th/6th Grade
Teacher

While we currently only have the positions listed above available, things are always shifting in an education als setting :) Please apply if you are interested in learning more about teacher openings, part-time positions, or support roles that may come available.

Details for both open teaching positions:

Start Date: June 1st, 2025

The summer schedule consists of 15 workdays between June 15th and August 31st, with flexible scheduling options.

  • First-Year Teachers: To ensure sufficient training, team building, and classroom preparation, first-year teachers are required to complete the majority of their 15 days on campus, with only two days designated as all-staff meetings.

  • Returning Teachers: In subsequent years, summer hours may be conducted remotely, pending approval from the Administration team.

This schedule is designed to support a smooth transition into the school year and foster collaboration within the team.

Schedule Starting Sept. 2025: Tues./Wed./Thurs.

Contracted Hours: In class instruction 8am-3:30pm Tues./Wed./Thurs. Monday/Friday: Available by text and email for parents (averaging 1 hour per day).

Salary: Please inquire; compensated for 24.75 hours per week

Job description:

This role includes but is not limited to:

  • Delivering effective and dynamic lessons.

  • Designing and administering frequent assessments to evaluate students' understanding of concepts.

  • Establishing and maintaining a positive, disciplined, respectful, Christ-centered classroom environment.

  • Collaborating, communicating and working well with the SFS Team.

  • Regularly communicating with and fielding questions from parents who oversee student-learning two-days per week.​
     

Experience/qualifications 

  • Must have grade level appropriate teaching experience in a classroom setting.

  • Must have an educational background in these subject areas to support your position as lead teacher.

  • Must have multiple relevant references available upon request. 

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
