Math and Language Arts Levels

If your child does not use The Good & The Beautiful curriculum for math or language arts, it is mandatory that they complete the placement tests as part of this application. Here’s what to do:

Click the link below for the assessment. They will need to complete both the math and language arts assessments.
We recommend starting at your child’s grade level. Have your child keep going for each level that they pass or go down if their grade level is too hard. Then fill out the questions below with the highest level they passed.
For children entering grades 3rd-8th please have your child complete the writing prompt below and scan/take a picture and email it to apply@staffordfarmschool.org. The writing sample needs to be handwritten and completed independently.

3rd-8th Grade Writing Prompt: Write about a recipe or meal that has significance to your family. What makes it special? Use descriptive language to help the meal come to life so that I can almost taste it. Please do your best work.

The levels in this curriculum don’t necessarily match up to grade level. We want students learning at whatever level is most appropriate for them. So you may find that the right level for your child varies from subject to subject.
