At Stafford Farm School we are committed to bringing up the next generation of learners and leaders that point others toward Jesus. We do school differently! We are an Oregon non-profit 501(c) Christian Hybrid School that provides an exceptional classroom learning experience three days a week and leads kids and parents through two days a week of at-home learning.

Not fully home school, not fully at school...

Many of the families in our community were drawn to the idea of homeschooling their children but felt overwhelmed and intimidated to go at it on their own. We’ve seen, and personally experienced, parents struggling with the tension between wanting to have more influence over our children’s time and education while also highly valuing in-class learning and the interpersonal development that comes from being in a classroom. We love that at SFS we can blend these worlds together!

Our goal is to educate students in a fun, character driven environment that promotes academically robust educational content. Our model is designed to slow down childhood and allow children more time at home benefiting from the love and influence of their parents & guardians. We serve students in small class sizes that allow for each student to be seen, known, and challenged at the level that is just right for them.

Stafford Farm School is a hybrid school with in class learning Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and at home learning on Mondays and Fridays. Our daily schedule is strategically designed to maximize the most of our three in-class days.  Everything we do at SFS is on purpose designed for that specific age group. We like to say we add a little bit of sparkle to everything we do, even for the “big kids”!

Academic Intentionality

At Stafford Farm School we place a high value on providing an incredible academic experience at all grade levels. We hire licensed, capable teachers with years of relevant teaching experience! All of our curriculum is researched and chosen with careful consideration of the academic standards for that grade and aim to meet or exceed these standards. We keep a close pulse on the scope of subjects covered in each grade so that by the time kids go to High School they have been offered a robust and dynamic breadth of topics and skills.

What Makes SFS Unique?

Parent Involvement

Parents regularly volunteer in class and get a hands on look at “life in the classroom". Parents get to experience the lessons alongside their student!

Small Class Size

At SFS, kids are known! Core subject learning groups are taught in groups of about 10 students and all classrooms are roughly  20 students.

Faith Based

Everything we do is rooted deep in our love for Christ and leading kids to know and love Jesus for the whole of their life.

Individualized Learning

Children are taught at their academic level, not grade, in Math and Language Arts. We want to provide a healthy challenge to students in these critical subjects.

Class & Home Learning

Our curriculum is taught three days per week in class and one lesson is completed each week at home. Our academic team help make at home learning a positive experience for parents and kids.

Robust Community

The friendships between students and parents has been one of the top reasons people love our model. At SFS we are for each other and we parent and educate our kids in community.

God is up to good things at Stafford Farm School, and it's only just getting started!
